Dear Colleagues,

The MISBO Annual Conference will be held at the Grand Hyatt (Buckhead-Atlanta) on Sunday October 21st and Monday October 22nd. This year we have joined with SAIS to offer a much different conference experience than in the past for MISBO members. The partnership with SAIS allows us to offer programing that is important to every leader in the independent school community and most importantly allows you to attend sessions and learn with your colleagues at your school and other schools.

For many years we have discussed the challenges our schools have faced due to what we have called "silo" mentality and decision making. The Head of School may have a great meeting with the educational leaders and make a decision to move forward on a project without consulting the other key leaders which could include any or all of the following: Business Officer, HR Director, Technology Director, or Facilities Director. This can create a myriad of difficulties which we have all experienced. The 'parallel' or joint conference idea was conceived to provide a unique opportunity for the Head of School to learn next to the Technology Director, the Upper School Division Director to sit next to the HR Director, the Lower School Principal to be in a session with the Facilities Director, or for the entire operational team to meet and learn from their colleagues at other schools.

If you have any problems with your login or other questions, please e-mail Support at support@idp-dashboards.com. Please remember that you must complete the survey to have access to the benchmarking tool and the data.
