The Executive Committee of the Board and I are delighted to inform the MISBO Membership that Marc Levinson has accepted the role of Executive Director for MISBO on a full-time basis under a 3 year agreement effective November 1, 2012. Marc will continue to commute every other week or so from his home in CO; his 14 months of service to the association virtually has been very successful. This opportunity for MISBO to be guided and managed by a talented business officer with association leadership experience is exactly what MISBO has been seeking for a long time. The Executive Committee and I also wish to extend sincere gratitude to the Search Committee of the Board, chaired by Kelly Sanderson, with Steven Wennerstrom, Cliff Kling and Anne King.

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that I have accepted the position of Executive Director for MISBO. After spending more than a year in the "interim" role, I am looking forward to looking forward and working with the staff and Board to lead MISBO in the coming years. We have so many new and exciting initiatives - here are some:

Annual Benchmarking Survey - the survey opened for data input on August 20th as planned. Invitations were sent to over 500 MISBO and SAIS member schools. You need to login here - http://www.idp-benchmark.com/ and complete the survey by September 17, 2012. If you have any problems with your login or other questions, please e-mail Support at support@idp-dashboards.com. Please remember that you must complete the survey to have access to the benchmarking tool and the data.

MISBO Website - The MISBO website had an overhaul this summer. You must login and change your password to have access to all of the vendor contract information. Login at www.misbo.com - if you have any questions or problems please contact Cheryl Goode - cherylgoode@misbo.com.

Director, Membership and Marketing - MISBO is excited to announce that we have opened the search for a Director, Membership and Marketing - a new position for MISBO and one that will be critical to MISBO's success in the coming years. MISBO Webinars - the first Webinar of the Fall 2012 Webinar series is Wednesday September 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM ET. The series will extend through the fall and a new series will begin in January. 2012 MISBO Annual Conference  

The 2012 Annual Conference - Leaders of the Future- is fast approaching!
