Last week 15 of your peer schools completed the pilot test of our new benchmarking tool and the feedback has been very positive. We are making last minute changes to ensure that the survey is ready to distribute to the combined membership of MISBO and SAIS of approximately 500 schools on August 20th. Look for more information in the coming week.

The 2012 Benchmarking Survey is an outstanding member benefit for MISBO and SAIS member schools.  This year, with our associations collaborating on this project we will enhance the value of the data collected and the benchmarking potential for each school participating. By working together, we anticipate up to 400 schools participating!

This year the data entry and benchmarking will utilize a new web based tool enhancing the security of your data and improving the benchmarking capability. We will also collect the required data submission for SAIS and MISBO member schools that was previously accomplished through a different process.

We are working with Interactive Data Partners to bring the survey to you this year. Interactive Data Partners, LLC (IDP) (learn more HERE) has been helping independent schools use their data more effectively since 2005. Unlike other software companies that offer business-centric products to schools as an afterthought, IDP focuses exclusively on schools. They understand how to adapt the best and most applicable practices of the business world to meet the unique needs of schools.

 Thanks to your support with the Verizon Wireless contract, both MISBO & Verizon Wireless are pleased to announce a new contract providing increased benefits for both member schools and their employees.  The new contract increases the basic member school subscriber discount from 15% to 17% on most plans of $34.00 or higher.  Employee subscriber discounts are also increased from 12% to 14%.  An Additional discount of 3% is also available to employee subscribers that go paperless using the My Verizon portal to view and pay their bill.

Regular promotions on the latest phones smartphones, tables and wireless 4G modems are immediately available for new subscribers and those eligible for  upgrades.  This includes unadvertised promotions available on-line only. Questions and inquiries should be directed to:
