Meet Tanner
Tanner came to ARI initially as a special situation. His caregiver was being evicted and needed temporary placement for her cat. Unfortunately his caregiver can no longer care for him and he's now available for adoption.
Tanner was at one of our satellite shelters where he was given special attention, but wasn't handling rescue life very well. Tanner began to refuse food, even though his spirits were high. Tanner had to have a feeding tube placed to carry him through, and we're happy to say he's bounced back remarkably!
Tanner is 8-years-old, feeding-tube free, and good with dogs, cats and children. He would be perfect in a home with someone who wants a lap cat, complete with hugs and face rubs! Call (717) 993-3232x224 or e-mail Kim here.
