Customer Connection
Look at what some of our recent customers had to say about their experience with Preferred:

"Just thought you would enjoy knowing how much we enjoyed the back yard. We hosted family recently and the yard looked fabulous. Knockout roses were blooming, and the weather was picture perfect. Every time we looked around, family members had wandered out to the yard to enjoy the round arbor, sit on the rock wall, gather around the fire pit, drink good wine and otherwise just hang out. The yard does just what you envisioned and hoped it would - it invites you out. ."  ~ Laurie W

Benefits of LED Lighting

LED is the revolution in outdoor lighting.  It has a long list of benefits over traditional lighting options. Preferred uses several different brands of LED but this list will focus on the specific benefits of the Kichler brand of LED lighting.

  • LED lights have a life expectancy of 50,000 hours - that is an average of 15 years!
  • LED uses 75% less energy than traditional lighting.  This is better for the environment and saves you money.
  • LED doesn't attract insects - enjoy your yard without the annoyance of light fixtures that attract bugs
  • LED lights are smaller than tranditional lights and blend in with the landscape.
  • The Kichler LED lights have a 15 year warranty.

Now is the Perfect time to Protect your trees!

Oak wilt, one of the most destructive tree diseases in the

United States, is killing oak trees in central Texas at epidemic proportions . Oak wilt is an infectious disease caused by the fungus Ceratocystis fagacearum, which invades and disables the water-conducting system in susceptible trees.  All oaks (Quercus spp.) are susceptible to oak wilt to some degree, but some species are affected more than others.   Oak Wilt Tree

There are several steps recommended to prevent new infections and to protect your trees.  Preferred Tree Care has a  licensed and certified arborist on staff who is also certified to treat Oak Wilt that would be happy to meet with you and discuss the best ways you can protect your oak trees.
