 Guess who did that?

Riverwalk 2

Preferred is honored to be the company chosen to install the 122,000 twinkling lights that form a magical canopy over San Antonio's River Walk!  The lights shine brightly from the day after Thanksgiving when they turn on at 7:00pm
following the river parade until January 1st

Oak Wilt Tree
Protect your trees!

Oak wilt, one of the most destructive tree diseases in the

United States, is killing oak trees in central Texas at epidemic proportions . Oak wilt is an infectious disease caused by the fungus Ceratocystis fagacearum, which invades and disables the water-conducting system in susceptible trees.  All oaks (Quercus spp.) are susceptible to oak wilt to some degree, but some species are affected more than others.

There are several steps recommended to prevent new infections and to protect your trees.  Preferred Tree Care has a  licensed and certified arborist on staff who is also certified to treat Oak Wilt that would be happy to meet with you and discuss the best ways you can protect your oak trees. Check your light timers
Is your landscape lighting coming on early enough?  With the clocks going back an hour and winter setting in, dusk is coming earlier and earlier.  It is time to check your timers for outdoor lighting and adjust for all the changes.  If you need help, give us a call and we would be glad to help.
