AIRGLADES AIRPORT CLOSURE

Runway Resurface
The Airglades Airport will be closed effective March 1st for approximately 63 days for runway resurfacing. While this is a huge inconvenience and burden on us all at Airglades, we will do our best to continue operations during the closure. Our only remaining option is to utilize the 04-22, 2300 foot (estimated) grass strip located at Airglades Airport. This will require increased skill and proficiency on the part of the Pilot/Student and therefore I am requiring all renters and students to attend either our scheduled class or meet at your convenience to review safety practices and procedures for grass, unimproved surfaces. You can register for our scheduled class to the left and you will also receive an email for RSVP.If you are unable to attend, please feel free to meet myself or Michael at anytime to discuss. Safety is our number one concern and we want all fliers to be operating on the same page. Dual instruction if needed will be considered at no charge for Club Members. |
