TECHIE SPOTLIGHT - Barbara Piper
Barbara is one of the receptionists at Evans Technology. She typically covers the morning shift but occasionally stays with us through the afternoon. Barbara has been with Evans since 2007 and is responsible for all of the front desk administration duties (assisting with training, accounting, receiving phone calls, greeting visitors, etc). Barbara says that she enjoys interacting with the Evans Technology guests and the variety of work activities that she partakes in. She says that she also enjoys speaking with the students when they come to training and the overall atmosphere in the office, which is very family oriented and friendly. Barbara grew up overseas while her father was in the Air Force and later the Foreign Service of the State Department. Most of her adult life Barbara has managed law firms in the Washington, D.C. area, but moved to Georgia to be near her six grandchildren. Barbara is a big help to all of us at Evans and we appreciate all that she does. Next time you call Evans, be sure to say hello to Barb!
