Lighthouse Rebuilding Announced at White House Conference
On March 2, 2012 Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation was invited to participate in the White House Conference on Conservation. Maurepas WMA Expansion
On Friday, March 2, 2012 the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) with the Louisiana Coastal Protection Authority (CPRA) announced a 29,630 acre property acquisition in Pontchartrain Basin which will be added to the existing Maurepas Swamp Wildlife Management Area (WMA). This addition brings the total acreage of the Maurepas Swamp WMA to 103,374 acres. Read more... |
