Back to the Beach Festival
sun and btb logoPlease join us for LPBF's 22nd Annual Back to the Beach Festival on June 3, 4, & 5 at Laketown in Kenner (where Williams Blvd. meets the Lake).  The three-day Festival has something for everyone: a family atmosphere with New Orleans' best live music, out-of-this-world food from local caterers, arts & crafts vendors, and lots of children's activities. It all kicks off with a Run/Walk on Friday evening, and the rest of the weekend is jam-packed with a Bikes at the Beach motorcycle rally, a Car Show, Fishing Rodeo and much more - all while helping to Save Our Lake & Coast!

Ashley Kelly Swim Program

AKSP 2001The Ashley Kelly Swim Program 2011 offers a free week-long swim program of water shed safety issues and swim lessons open to anyone in the Pontchartrain Basin who is age 5 or older.  Swimming lessons provided by Red Cross trained Water Safety Instructors at Tulane University. LPBF's partners include Ashley Marie Kelly Foundation, American Red Cross, NORDC and Tulane University.  


Our registration for the Ashley Kelly Swim Program 2011 is now full.  Please note that there will be additional free swimming lessons available in Orleans Parish this summer through the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC) and the American Red Cross. (NORDC registration here. )
