Brava's Dogs (hot dogs) and Jumby's Joint (sandwiches, wraps) are at IPFW on a rotating weekly basis in Parking Lot 8 between the Engineering Building and the Library from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Brava's Dogs will be back Thursday, October 11 and every other Thursday. Jumby's Joint will be back Tuesday, October 16 and every other Tuesday.

Blackboard Upgrade

On Saturday, October 6, Blackboard will apply a new service pack to the Blackboard Learn Environment to enhance stability and functionality. The work is scheduled to begin at 12 a.m. (midnight) and will run through 4 p.m. that afternoon. The system will be unavailable during this time.

Filled with stories and interviews focused on art, music, and theatre, you'll want to catch the live show on PBS39 WFWA-DT at 7:30 p.m. every week to find out what's going on in the arts.

Write-a-Will: Leave-a-Legacy
 IPFW will be a community host for a Write-a-Will event on Wednesday, October 17, as part of the national Leave-a-Legacy initiative in conjunction with the Planned Giving Council of Northeast Indiana (PGCNI). Attorney Charles Backs will be on campus to assist people in writing their wills. Simple wills that contain at least one charitable bequest will be written at no cost for those who attend. Time slots will be offered between 2 and 5 p.m. in Walb Student Union, Room G21. For more information, contact Jay Thayer at 481-6963 or visit the PGCNI website.

Hospitality Students Offer Oktoberfest Fare at Holiday Inn Mastodon Grill
The Advanced Food Service Management (HTM 492) senior class is operating an Oktoberfest-themed restaurant this semester at the Holiday Inn at IPFW and the Coliseum. The special menu is offered every Tuesday night from 4:30 to 10 p.m. (excluding October 9).

IPFW/Taleo Website Down for Upgrades
The IPFW/Taleo job posting website will be unavailable starting at 5 p.m. Monday, October 8, until approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 9. The site will be upgraded from Taleo 7.5 to Taleo 12 during this time, and users will be unable to log in.
Taleo 12 will have a new look, with increased capabilities and color and layout changes. Navigation should also be simpler. Job seekers will not experience much change, although the upgrade will add some abilities for third-party login and mobile capabilities. Once the upgrade is complete, users can access Taleo from Mac operating systems as well as Safari and Firefox browsers.

Construction Outage Notification
A natural gas outage will affect the entire main campus Monday, October 8. The outage will last approximately one hour, beginning at 7 a.m. Heating boilers will be turned off during this time and natural gas will not be available to the campus community.
