Due to unforeseen circumstances, the paving projects currently on campus have been extended several extra days from the original schedule.
Parking Lot 6 is partially closed for correction of soil conditions, which has extended the paving of the lot and of the roadways adjacent to Parking Lot 6 and at the Lawshe Circle until Monday, August 6. The lot will remain closed until next Wednesday, August 8, for finishing and striping, while the roadways will ONLY be resurfaced during the day on Monday.
Several small patch areas around the Engineering, Technology, and Computer Science Building and Neff Hall will also be paved on Monday. Traffic will be maintained during all times during the paving. Temporary detours may be encountered at the Lawshe Circle on Monday. CitiLink bus service will be maintained during these activities.
Pavement striping of campus roadways will also occur next week (August 6-- 10), so please be cautious when driving through campus.
Parking Garage 3 will be closed for safety system upgrades August 13-- 16. The garage will be reopened prior to FreshmanFest on August 17. Please use adjacent parking lots during this time.
We apologize for any inconvenience these activities may cause and appreciate your understanding. If you have any questions or concerns about these projects, please contact Greg Justice or Craig Campbell at the Physical Plant, 481-6832. Thank You.
