IPFW MAP-Works Program Recognized at National Conference
How does a university know how its freshmen students are doing and how it can help them be successful and stay in school? One of the programs highly regarded by colleges and universities is EBI MAP-Works, which is "dedicated to improving retention, student success, and the quality of the college student experience."

Farlow and Team at Glen Rose Dinosaur Footprint Site
Glen Rose, Texas, is home to some of the best-preserved dinosaur tracks in the world. A team of scientists, researchers, students, and collaborators from across the world have descended on the Paluxy Riverbed to document and study the footprints and track sites. The team is being led by James Farlow, professor of geology at IPFW.
Farlow is considered one of the leading experts in dinosaur footprints, having published dozens of articles and books on dinosaurs, including his most recent book, The Complete Dinosaur: Life of the Past (second edition). Asphalt Repaving; Lot 6 Closed Parking Lot 6 between Kettler Hall and the ETCS Building is closed for repaving this week. The campus community should be aware that other roadways will be affected, such as the Circle Drive at the main campus entrance. Lot 6 should reopen on Friday. |
