IPFW Athletics Wins Major Award for "Feel the Rumble" Campaign
IPFW Athletics and Ad Lab Advertising of Fort Wayne recently received a 2011--12 National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) Best of Award for their "Feel the Rumble" campaign. The bronze award in the Group II Radio Commercial Category award was announced at the 2012 NACMA Convention, held June 26 in Dallas.
"We are very excited about winning this award," said Director of Athletics Tommy Bell. "It shows that there was a fantastic effort from URC's Marketing and Creative Services, led by Jack Patton, and also from students, coaches, staff, and administrators who were surveyed. This is a huge win for the university and the increased brand awareness of IPFW Athletics."

Registrar Closed Friday, July 13
Registrar's office staff will attend a Purdue Registrar system-wide meeting in West Lafayette Friday, July 13. Signs have been posted outside the office to announce the office closing and all inbound phone calls to 481-6815 will be redirected to the IPFW on-call center.
Walk-in students who need transcripts may complete the request form located outside the office and leave it in the drop box on the door. Any requests received on July 13 will be processed on Monday, July 16. Walk-in students who need to drop or add classes may leave the completed drop-add form in the drop box. The forms will also be processed July 16.

Frank Paladino, Schrey Professor and chair of the biology department, has been published in Nature, the fourth time since he came to IPFW. Paladino and several colleagues who study leatherback sea turtles in Costa Rica submitted the paper "Projected Response of an Endangered Marine Turtle Population to Climate Change" to Nature's Climate Change website.
