A high-voltage breaker went out in the Chiller Plant late last night and is currently running at diminished cooling capacity. To help with the situation, the Physical Plant has shut down cooling in large gathering areas such as the field house, Gates Center gym, and Auer Performance Hall, among others. This was done in order to maintain cooling in offices and classrooms.

A new part is expected to be delivered tomorrow morning; Physical Plant managers anticipate full cooling capacity by sometime Saturday afternoon.
