In Memoriam
Kenneth L. Stevenson, 72, passed away Feb. 22, 2012. He came to IPFW in 1968 and retired in 2004 as professor emeritus of chemistry. Stevenson received degrees from Purdue University and the University of Michigan and taught chemistry and chaired the  department for most of his tenure at IPFW.

Purdue Medical Plan Tier 1 Laboratory Services Reminder
The IPFW Health and Wellness Clinic located in Walb Union, Room 234, is a Tier 1 laboratory draw site. Routine lab services in the Purdue Incentive and Purdue Copay plans are covered at 100 percent if you use a Tier 1 Provider. If you are in the Purdue Choice Plan, Tier 1 lab services will cost much less than if you had the test done at a hospital or the doctor's office. 

Other Tier 1 Laboratories include Lab Corp. and Quest Diagnostics. Questions can be directed to Tina Grady at 481-6684.

Gates Center Athletic event tickets for all games on campus, along with theatre and music performances and Omnibus lectures, are now available during regular business hours at the new Marilyn and Jim Larson Ticket Office, located inside the Gates Athletics Center. Hours are Monday--Friday from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. and one hour prior to all athletic events. Tickets can be purchased by phone at 260-481-6555 using VISA, MasterCard, or Discover. Read more ... 
Easter Basket Collection Benefits SCAN Clients
Easter basket The IPFW Alumni Association is collecting filled Easter baskets for the children of SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect), now through March 28.

It's easy! Just go to your favorite store, purchase a complete Easter basket (or several!) and take it to the Kettler or Walb information desks or the Alumni Center. Or call 481-6807 to make other arrangements.

Baskets should be filled with commercially wrapped items (nothing homemade) and wrapped so nothing will fall out during transport. 
BLUE OUT Volleyball Match
Blue Out Friday, March 2, is the men's volleyball Blue Out for prostate cancer awareness. Men who attend the match can receive a ticket for only $3. Everyone is encouraged to wear blue to the match.
