IPFW to Unveil New TV Spot
Through a partnership with Boyden & Youngblutt (Fort Wayne, Ind.), University Relations and Communications has produced a new TV spot for IPFW, entitled "Dare to Imagine." The advertisement is scheduled to begin airing in Fort Wayne, South Bend, and Lima, Ohio markets starting Monday, February 13.
The ad capitalizes on a "mixed media" approach, using a mixture of live action and animation to represent the wide breadth of interests of our students. Christina Egts of Boyden & Youngblutt said her company wanted to "achieve a convincing and environmentally immersive animation."
Jack Patton, IPFW's director of marketing, believes the advertisement achieves its goals of "being visually aspirational, distinctive in the marketplace, and gaining name recognition among our target markets." "Dare to Imagine" will appear on a variety of cable networks during such widely viewed programming as American Idol and Glee, and will air in RAVE and Carmike theatres throughout March.
