Dinner, a Movie, and Some Education
Welcome Home movie Faculty and staff are invited to a free buffet dinner and movie presentation, Tuesday, January 10, at 5 p.m. in the Walb Union Ballroom. Tickets are free but are limited to the first 50 people.

The Welcome Home Project is a documentary film about 25 military veterans and their families who were invited to a retreat center in Oregon to find a way for the community to welcome home its combat veterans. The film shows the healing journey the veterans, their families, and the community took to better understand PTSD, injuries, and other post-war traumas.

The training session is sponsored by the IPFW/Ivy Tech Office of Military Student Services. For tickets, contact Jo Vaughan at 481-0207 or vaughanj@ipfw.edu

Lifelong learning is the mantra of IPFW's Division of Continuing Studies, but that doesn't mean you have to be tied to a classroom with papers to write and tests to take. It can mean learning a new language, how to paint, even taking a trip to Italy. Guests on the December 29 Discover IPFW include Matt Kubik, Maggie Hunter, Joon Kim, and Mike Smith. Tune in to WFWA-DT PBS 39 every Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
