Live Performance of Handel's Messiah Thursday Night
Handel
George Frideric Handel
The Fort Wayne Philharmonic will perform Handel's Messiah, Thursday, December 15, at 7 p.m. in the Auer Performance Hall of the Rhinehart Music Center. Now, thanks to an agreement between IPFW, PBS-39, and the American Federation of Musicians Local 58, the concert will also be seen live on PBS-39.

To help fill Auer Performance Hall, the Phil is extending a special $10 ticket offer to all IPFW students, staff, faculty, friends, and families. To get the reduced price tickets, visit or call the Phil's box office at 481-0777 and mention this offer. The box office is located in Ginsberg Hall.

The Phil thanks everyone who made this new endeavor possible and asks that you e-mail this special offer to your contacts to ensure a successful event.

Eric Wagenfeld, SSD director and assistant dean of students, has made a national name for himself working on public policy and best practices. As a result, he has been appointed to the Standing Committee on Public Policy by AHEAD, the Association for Higher Education and Disability. Read the story...
