Nursing Department Adopts Family
Nursing Adopt a Family IPFW's Department of Nursing is making the holidays a little brighter for an area family this year through the Salvation Army's Adopt-a-Family program. The father of the family of eight is unable to work as he is on kidney dialysis. The mother works; however, they are part of the working poor.

Each child will receive an outfit, shoes, coat, hat, gloves, and items of special interest. Gifts for the parents include clothing, household items, a set of pots and pans, and a basket of household toiletries. Gift cards for groceries and other necessary items are also included.

During the extended hours, library staff will be available at the first floor service desk to check out materials and
laptops, reserve study rooms, and provide other minimal services. Learning Commons services will not be available. All floors of the library will be open, but the sky bridge will be closed.

Snacks and coffee will be offered December 11--14 from 5 to 8 p.m. Contact Tiff Adkins, adkinst@ipfw.edu if you're interested in volunteering at the snack table.
