Córdova Pleased with "Inspire"
Purdue University President France A. Córdova sent the following message to IPFW Chancellor Michael Wartell:

France Cordova"I was pleased to receive IPFW's 2011 Annual Report
entitled "Inspire." Your campus achievements over the past year are impressive and I am pleased to learn of the exiting projects and milestones that have been achieved.

CATV Celebrates 30th Anniversary
CATV Web site CATV, the College Access TeleVision station housed in the basement of Helmke Library, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with an open house, Wednesday, December 7, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. A short program that includes campus and community leaders will be held at 3 p.m. in the CATV studio. All students, staff, and faculty are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
Chancellor Search Committee
Asks for Input Via Survey
ipfw logoThe Chancellor Search Committee is asking for input from IPFW faculty and staff. Anyone who is interested in the search is asked to complete a short survey. The search committee thanks you for taking the time to offer your opinions. 
Chancellor Search Forum for Staff
A Chancellor Search Forum session for APSAC and CSSAC employees has been scheduled for December 6 at noon in Walb Student Union, Rooms 222--226. The search committee is soliciting questions that APSAC and CSSAC employees feel are important to ask the candidates. Please plan to attend. 
First Mondays Lecture is a Hot Topic
Stevenson The First Mondays series presentation by Assistant Professor of Chemistry Steven Stevenson, "The Discovery of New Molecules at Plasma Temperatures," takes place Monday, December 5.

A passion of Stevenson's research group is the discovery of new molecules. How does one create new molecules, and why haven't they been discovered before? Stevenson will discuss this journey from inception, to creation, and to isolation.

APSAC Holiday Card Fundraiser
APSAC Christmas card IPFW's Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Council (APSAC) is offering holiday cards through December 14. Each card is handcrafted by APSAC members, and all proceeds go toward the APSAC Dependent Scholarship and Professional Development programs.
