Campus Safety
IPFW is committed to providing a safe environment for all students, faculty, staff, and community visitors. In the wake of the sexual abuse allegations at Penn State University, the Chancellor and the IPFW administration would like to assure you of IPFW's commitment to safety and to the protection of those witnessing or experiencing aggressive or frightening acts.
Anyone who witnesses or suspects any act of abuse, intimidation, or violence should immediately report it----employees to an immediate supervisor, human resources, and/or University Police; students to the Dean of Students and/or University Police. Retaliation for reporting violent behavior is strictly forbidden. IPFW will promptly investigate any such reports and will provide victims with protection and support.
For more information, please contact the Office of Institutional Equity at 481-6106 or view the policy online. |
Wireless Upgrades Continue
Wireless upgrades are scheduled through January 2012. Wireless configuration steps are the same, but the name of the hotspot will be different depending on whether you are connecting to the old wireless (IPFW) or the new (IPFW-WRLS). Devices must be configured for both, as wireless is accessed from different locations. Once upgrades are complete, configurations for IPFW can be deleted.
Upgrades have already been completed in Liberal Arts, Support Services, Neff, Visual Arts, and student housing, and will continue with Kettler Hall on Friday, November 18.
Configuration instructions for the IPFW-WRLS network, answers to frequently asked questions, and a list of buildings in order of upgrade are available at the ITS site.
