Thefts Persist; University Police Recommend Vigilance
University Police have received numerous theft complaints in the last month. University Police Chief Jeff Davis says the thefts have occurred when the victims left their personal property unattended. Stolen items  include:
  • backpacks and their contents
  • laptop and notebook computers
  • other electronic devices
  • wallets

Davis urges all students, staff, and faculty to be vigilant and not to leave personal property or their offices unattended or unlocked. If you notice anything suspicious or have any information on these thefts, please call University Police at 260-481-6827.
