IPFW Hosts Purdue Presidential Search Committee
Purdue logoIPFW students, faculty, and staff will get to tell the Purdue Presidential Search Committee what qualities and goals the next president of Purdue should possess. The meetings will take place Thursday, September 22 in Walb Student Union, Rooms G21--G21A. Clerical/Service and Administrative/Professional Staff will meet with the committee from 9 to 10 a.m.; faculty will meet with the group from 10 to 11 a.m. Read the complete letter... 
Emergency Notification System Test
Cell phoneUniversity Police will conduct a test of the Emergency Notification System (ENS) Thursday, September 22 at 1 p.m. ENS messages are received several ways:
  • Voice message at your IPFW office or student housing phone
  • E-mail through your IPFW e-mail address
  • Text message via your Alert Phone Number
  • Voice message via your Alert Phone Number

To receive ENS messages at your Alert Phone Number, log on to myIPFW and update your information at the Alert Phone Number site on the right-hand side of the home page. 

Travel to the Art Institute of Chicago
TASS poster View the special exhibit "Windows on the War: Soviet TASS Posters at Home and Abroad, 1941--1945" at the Art Institute of Chicago Saturday, October 15. The bus trip will feature a fun but intellectually stimulating lecture on the Soviet Union during World War II.

The trip is being subsidized by Student Affairs and the College of Arts and Sciences and is a great deal for students ($20) and nonstudents ($30). Twenty people are needed in order for the trip to happen.
