Road Construction Update
Parking Lot 14/Circle Drive
The circle drive in front of the Rhinehart Music Center, Williams Theatre, and the Medical Education Building will be closed for repaving July 26, 27, and 28. No vehicular access will be allowed during this time; barricades will be placed at the entrance.
Walb Union Circle
The Walb Union Circle will be closed July 27, 28, and 29 for milling and cleaning. The circle will also be closed Aug. 1--2 for repaving. No vehicular access will be allowed during this time; barricades will be placed at the entrance.
Broyles Drive
Broyles Drive in front of Parking Garage 2 will be under construction for milling and repaving July 28--29 and Aug. 1--2. The affected area will be on Broyles from the north side of the traffic circle to the entrance to Parking Garage 2 and the new Athletics Center. Traffic will be maintained to the areas north of the garage during this time including the Medical Education Building, Rhinehart Music Center, Visual Arts Building, and Williams Theatre.
Broyles Drive Pedestrian Crossing at County Extension Office
Broyles Drive will be closed between the traffic circle and the entry to Parking Garage 1 for the replacement and modification of the pedestrian crossing speed hump leading to the Willis Family Bridge. The road will be closed Aug. 5 at 5 p.m. through Aug. 15 at 8 a.m. No vehicular access will be allowed during this time; barricades will be placed at the entrances to the area. Vehicular access will only be maintained to the County Extension Office, except during paving procedures.
