United Way Goal at Two-Thirds Mark

Put Yourself in the Picture. Donate This Week.

HOPE HOUSE

"The importance of the United Way mission became truly palpable to me as I visited Hope House, a residential facility for homeless, chemically-dependent women. The emotional and physical support Hope House gives is critical for women on their personal roads to recovery and self-sufficiency." - Vicki Bandor Braun, Continuing Studies

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBUnited Way visit to Boys and Girls Club

"The air was thick with feelings of care, pride, and purpose. Children were engaged with their leaders and with each other. A teen group collected clothing for a community outreach project. They will wash, fold, and sort them before making the donation to a nearby center, and raise money to pay for the laundry costs. I am ready to buy a box of detergent!" - Jan-Marie Zimmerman, Continuing Studies

"What an amazing ministry. The Boys and Girls Club not only provides a safe place for kids to go after school, children are taught real life lessons. The staff and volunteers are positive role models. The kids are getting a wonderful opportunity to succeed in life. I plan to volunteer to help make a difference in a child's life."  - Amanda Brown, Radiology
