John Stafford
John Stafford, director of the Community Research Center, was a presenter earlier this month at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City's conference on "Economic Development in Underserved Communities: Where Research and Practice Meet." Stafford presented the economic ups and downs of the Fort Wayne metropolitan area over the past 30 years. Read more...

Helmke Library Annex

Helmke Library Green Design Charrette
Friday, Oct. 1, senior students in the Construction Engineering Technology program will conduct a design charrette focusing on IPFW Helmke Library renovations, along with members of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers, the regional U.S. Green Building Council, and the Northeast Indiana Green Build Coalition The session will be held on the second floor of Helmke Library from 8 a.m. to noon. Fine Arts Faculty Featured in ArtPrize®
3 Friends by Michael Burman
Three Friends
The Department of Fine Arts has four faculty members featured in ArtPrize®, which is being held throughout the city of Grand Rapids, Mich. through Oct. 10. The winning artist from a field of more than 1,700 will be awarded $250,000, and $449,000 will be distributed to the top ten entries. Public voting will determine the winners.
IPFW faculty with works on display are Dana Goodman, Robert F. Schroeder, Michael Burman, and Sayaka Ganz. Read more...
