Campus-wide Power Outage Sept. 26
Mastodon and crane Physical Plant has scheduled a campus-wide power outage on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010. This outage will occur from 2 to 4 a.m. and will affect the main campus power supply. Student Housing, Ginsberg-Dolnick and West Campus will not be affected. This outage is to perform vital switching work for the new Student Services Complex project and for the Kettler-Neff high voltage project. All work is expected to occur within the two-hour time frame. Please e-mail or call Greg Justice with any specific requirements your department might have to accommodate the outage or if you have further questions.
Nursing Department Open House Sept. 16
The campus community is invited to attend an open house for the new state-of-the-art nursing department Sept. 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. on the third floor of the Liberal Arts Building. Enjoy light refreshments and see the latest in nursing education technology in the new nursing simulation and skills center.
ADA Workshop Addresses Amendment
Learn about the changes the Amendments Act makes to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and how the changes affect you: There are two sessions in the Rhinehart Recital Hall on Sept. 27:
  • 10-11:30 a.m. Addresses the implementation of the ADA and the ADA Amendments Act in the workplace; employment focused.
  • 1-2:30 p.m. An overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the ADA Amendments Act.

Chicago Shopping Trip Open to Public
Shop 'til you drop!
Shopping Spree
Love shopping in the Windy City but hate driving there? The Association of IPFW Women is taking reservations for its annual shopping trip to downtown Chicago, Saturday, Oct. 23. Drop-off spots include the Field Museum, Macy's, or Water Tower Place. Cost is $35. For more information, e-mail Bev Stewart or call 260-433-6365.
