McKinney Receives National Honors
William McKinney, VCAA |
William J. McKinney, vice chancellor for academic affairs, has received several honors this summer:
- Elected as vice president for honors and fellowships and to the board of directors for Phi Kappa Phi;
- Named one of 25 members of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities Provost's Advisory Committee;
- Received the Bucknell University Class of 1985 Academia Award.

Name Change for School Approved A request to change the name of the Richard T. Doermer School of Business and Management Sciences to the Richard T. Doermer School of Business was recently approved by both the Indiana University and Purdue University boards of trustees.

Volunteers Needed for Freshmen Fest The Freshmen Fest 2010 committee still needs a few volunteers for "Welcome to Fabulous IPFW," a casino and game night from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 20, with "Little Vegas" events staff as facilitators.
