SOAR Needs a Few More Volunteers
The SOAR committee is looking for a few more volunteers this summer. The volunteer page lists the names of those who have already volunteered, and the volunteer registration link is at the bottom of the page. SOAR dates and times are listed, as well as where help is needed.

Summary of Part-Time Employees Forum Available Online
IPFW entrance signAn open forum was held at West Lafayette on May 12 to discuss benefits for part-time employees. A summary document and presentation slides from the forum are now available online. (Note: The presentation was updated May 19.)

Be a Volunteer "Tattoo Artist" 
Kid's FestEnjoy a day of fun in the sun with children of all ages!  IPFW University Relations and Communications will once again have a temporary tattoo booth at the Three Rivers Festival Children's Fest, Friday and Saturday, July 16 and 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the IPFW campus.
 
Volunteers are needed to fill three 2-hour shifts each day. The shifts are from 10 a.m. to noon, noon to 2 p.m., and 2 to 4 p.m. Each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt to wear during their shift.

If you want to join in the fun, please contact Susan Alderman at 481-6165 to let her know what shift you can work and what size t-shirt you need.
IPFW Construction Update 
Mastodon and crane
  • Parking lot 14 north of the Rhinehart Music Center closed for the summer on 5/24.
  • The Walb Student Union loading dock was switched to the new dock location on 5/25.
  • Parking Lot 11 is closed for construction.
  • Addition of the new Chiller started 5/24.
