2012 Cook County Wheel Tax Stickers Deadline

Residents living in unincorporated Cook County who own a vehicle or own a business in unincorporated Cook County and keep a vehicle there, you are required to purchase a Cook County vehicle wheel tax sticker.
2012 vehicle wheel tax stickers need to be purchased and displayed by July 1, 2012. Stickers purchased after July 1st are subject to late fees and vehicles not displaying a sticker are subject to being ticketed by the Cook County Sheriff.
Cook County vehicle wheel tax stickers are available for purchase at the Northfield Township office located at 3801 West Lake Avenue, Glenview, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Seniors who purchased a vehicle wheel tax sticker in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 or 2011 and own the same vehicle are not required to purchase a new sticker.
Northfield Township charges a $5.00 processing fee for all sticker purchases.
