I had a great time in Denver - and I always come home energized about the type of store we are (inspiring, uplifting, with many mind, body and spirit products for our customers). We have some new product lines coming in the next few months - lotus flower lamps, beautiful bronze figures (make great gifts), a new line of affirmation candles, jewelry, a lot of new products coming.

| Drink your way to health! | | |
Because I care about you, my customers, I like to share things I have learned along the way that were eye openers for me.
Your body is 75% water. Water in your body functions as a solvent, transportation system for nutrients and hormones, and maintains the cell structure (just to mention a few of its functions). So if there isn't enough water in your body, your cells are not as healthy as they could be (picture a grape versus a raisin).
I am sure you have heard that you should drink 8 glasses of water a day - other beverages are no substitute. And if you are thirsty, you are already dehydrated (picture raisins). Most Americans are chronically dehydrated and they don't recognize it. Actually soda, coffee, and alcohol make the situation worse - as they cause your body to excrete more fluids - thus increasing the dehydration.
Initial stages of dehdration can cause headaches, muscle pain, obesity, mood swings, and lethargy. (I read once that if students stopped drinking sodas, their test scores would immediately improve as they would be less dehydrated and the synapsis in their brain work faster.)
Did you know there are MANY diseases that are actually caused by chronic dehydration? (This was a big surprise to me.)
Chronic dehydration (drinking less than 8 glasses of water a day) may result in symptoms that may be mistaken for other disorders such as allergies, asthma, dyspepsia, colitis, constipation, rheumatoid arthritis, and chronic pains in various parts of the body such as migraine headaches. Chronic dehydration also plays a significant role in diabetes.
It's true that I am not a doctor - so do your own research. There is a lot we can do to be healthy naturally. Take some time and google it and read up on it for yourself. Be your own health advocate!
And, have a tall one on me - glass of water that is!!
