I wanted to send this off before I head to DENVER, Colorado this afternoon - I am going to the International New Age Trade Show (INATS). I am looking for new products to bring back, and of course restock your favorites. I love this show as I also get psychic readings and healings. It is more like a spiritual event for me than a trade show. I find out what the latest is from the Hopi elders, and Marianne Williamson is speaking at breakfast on Sunday, and Lisa Williams and John Holland Sunday Night!

| Remedies for itching after a glorious day in nature | | | Poison Ivy & Poison Oak Remedy
I am not sure where I got it, but here is a natural remedy if you get a bad case of poison Ivy or Oak. (I tend to collect natural solutions.)
White Oak Bark
Buy several cups of white oak bark from your local health food store. It will come in the bulk herb section of the store. If you are prone to poison oak or poison ivy, keep some on hand.
Take 1 cup and put it into a soup pot with about a gallon of water. Simmer for 20-30 minutes (or longer). Strain and put most of this into the bathtub. Fill the tub with water and get in and soak for at least 20-30 minutes. The water temperature is up to you. Also, drink 1-2 cups of the oak bark tea. You can sweeten it with apple juice or honey, etc if you'd like.Repeat twice daily. Typically you'll begin feeling better after the first bath. After the second, hopefully you'll really feel it drying up. Within 2-3 days people are typically out of the woods. Source Unknown
I was gardening the other day and I got into some stinging nettle - my forearms were all itchy/burning. I reached for my all purpose peppermint essential oil, put a couple drops on my hands, rubbed together and then rubbed all over my forearms. To my surprise the itching stopped instantly. If I am coming down with a cold I inhale the peppermint from my hands frequently. It is amazing how it immediately gives you relief from your cold. Try it!
