Staff and volunteers will prepare your good wishes, reflections of her ministry and a timeline of milestones to present to Mary Katherine. Please send reflections and milestone dates/descriptions to Carol Jensen. Or stop by the table in the Commons and complete a note card after services. Summer RE Bake Sale a Big Hit!

Congratulations to the Summer RE kids for an energetic and successful bake sale last Sunday! As part of their exploration of our partner churches, the students made fruit kabobs, chai and rice pudding, and offered delicious baked goodies brought in by generous UUCFers. The bake sale raised enough money for a digital camera, case and memory card for our partner church in Puriang, India. UUCF member and national chair of the UU Partner Church Council, Dick Van Duizend, will present the camera to the Puriang Unitarian School when he visits the village in September. We hope the camera will encourage the children in Oakton and Puriang to exchange photos and videos, strengthening our ties of friendship and partnership. Extra funds raised will go to the Puriang scholarship fund. Thank you for your support!
