Exploring the UU Sources
 |
John Monroe
|
This weekend, I will begin a six-part sermon series exploring the sources of the Unitarian Universalist tradition. These sources, which you can find listed on the UUA.org website and in the front of our hymnal, provide us with many of the teachings, practices and rituals that enrich the life of our faith community.
We'll kick off the series by looking at the vibrant stream of humanist teachings, which play such a vital role in our tradition. And we'll explore the dynamics that develop as those teachings interact with our tradition's other sources.
After the service, visit with your friends, grab some coffee and then come back to the Sanctuary for our first "Summer Polylogue," an opportunity to talk with your fellow congregants about humanism and our UU tradition. See you there.
