Celebrating Life: Why We Worship The Way We Do

Mary Katherine Morn

Dear UUCF Family,

At this weekend's services, in addition to my sermon exploring how memory and hope define us and hold us as a community, we will also be Celebrating Life! We will be remembering our dearly held values. We will be singing together, hearing beautiful music, acknowledging milestones, sharing silence and learning from one another. In other words, we will be doing what we do every weekend at our worship services.

This weekend, as we lead the service, we will also be reflecting on why we worship this way and what we hope will happen as we move through each part of the service. If you've ever wondered why we do something this way rather than that, please come to the services this weekend. In fact, if you have questions before the service, I'd love to hear from you.

Next week we will ask for some input on worship. We will be sending out a short survey about your experiences and hopes for worship at UUCF. Please join us as we remember, sing, listen, share and learn this weekend during our services.

Yours,

Mary Katherine
