What Makes You Come Alive?
The Rev. Howard Thurman is one of my favorite religious writers. He was dean of Howard University for over a decade starting in 1932.
 |
Rev. Howard Thurman
|
Thurman said:
"Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."
This weekend's services will explore how we find our calling and help not only ourselves, but the world (and our Congregation) come alive.
If you have a story about "coming alive" in your own life, I would love to hear it. Please send me an email.
See you in church.
Yours,
Mary Katherine
