Mission, Vision, and Values

Our mission is to provide compassionate and uplifting transitional care for women in crisis and hungry children in Orange County.

Our vision is to be the Orange County safety net for uniquely challenged and underserved women and children through hope, love, and spiritual healing.

Our values consist of the three main categories:

Love & Compassion: A faith-based approach to healing and forgiveness in a multi-generational community.

Respect & Acceptance: A non-judgmental celebration of the diversity and uniqueness of humankind.

Honesty & Integrity: An ethical approach to supporting personal growth and family values.

Children making cards for their parents

   On February 11th, more than
100 children and their families
enjoyed a day of arts and crafts together
Volunteers from Mariner's Church helped
the children make Valentines cards for their family members and served
up
hearty meal.
As a special treat, each child was able
to choose a pair of donated pajamas
given by St. Johns Lutheran Church

Our thanks goes out the many volunteers who made this day special!
Students from St. Johns Lutheran School in Orange hosted a pajama drive for the children living in two local motels. Because of their efforts 103 children are sleeping more warmly this winter.

Sharing the Love

Volunteers from Chinese Baptist Church writing Valentine's

In February, ladies at

Chinese Baptist Church

created beautiful Valentines' gifts  for the clients at  Grandma's House of Hope transitional shelter.

Each gift was crafted with care, and accompanied by handwritten notes .

In addition, GHH staff was invited to a potluck luncheon to present an overview of our programs.

"The best gifts of all are those that

come from the heart."

To the ladies of Chinese Baptist Church:

Our residents thank you from the

bottom of their hearts!
