Mission, Vision, and Values

Our mission is to provide compassionate and uplifting transitional care for women in crisis and hungry children in Orange County.

Our vision is to be the Orange County safety net for uniquely challenged and underserved women and children through hope, love, and spiritual healing.

Our values consist of the three main categories:

Love & Compassion: A faith-based approach to healing and forgiveness in a multi-generational community.

Respect & Acceptance: A non-judgmental celebration of the diversity and uniqueness of humankind.

Honesty & Integrity: An ethical approach to supporting personal growth and family values.

Sleep Out 2012

Sleep Out 2012

GHH invites you to  "Sleep Out" in solidarity for homeless youth!

Every year thousands of people come together carrying hand-painted banners and candles, singing songs of hope, and reading poetry and testimonials from coast to coast.

This year Grandma's House of Hope would like to spread  awareness in Orange County so that no homeless person will ever be forgotten!

This is about spending the night outside to raise awareness about and funds for homeless people. By doing this, you will experience a tiny bit of what it is like to be homeless, sleeping in cardboard boxes or sleeping bags.

By choosing to sleep out for just one night, you'll understand what 2,000,000 kids in the United States will suffer this year.

Please pick a date and we will help you arrange for this wonderful awareness and fundraising opportunity!

Local Brownie Troop Hosts Toy Drive for GHHGirl Scout Toy Drive

Girl Scout Brownie Troop HBSU1 recently hosted a Toy Drive for GHH by holding a
"Friendship Skate Party" in Fountain Valley!

These girls are a few from a group of over 40 troops in the Huntington Beach Service Unit who collected lots of new unwrapped toys for GHH.

All the girls agreed that it was a fun way to help children that don't have as much as they do.
