All donations through our "Drop In The Bucket" fundraiser go directly to Nana's Kidz, providing food to children over the weekends   and summer months  when the free school lunch program is not avalible.

Northgate Market to the Rescue!
 
 
A huge "Thank You" to the Gonzales Family and employees of
Northgate  Market!
Recently,  GHH received 10 pallets of non-perishable food items, complements of Northgate Markets who originated in Anaheim, January of 1980.

"The food could not have come at a better time," says Lori Solomon , Special Events Coordinator.  "There is such a need to assist these motel  families.  We have over 600 children on our waiting list waiting for food..."

Grandma's House of Hope
Receives Grant from
The Wells Fargo Foundation

For the third year in a row, Wells Fargo Foundation has granted funding to The Nana's Kidz Project, a program of GHH. This years funding came just in time to help us keep our summer distribution up and running and is supporting our efforts to feed all 185 children in our program! Plans are underway to increase the number of kids we serve to 350 before the end of the year.

  Sylvia has worked with the Department of Social Services since 1992 as an eligibility specialist, and with the Huntington Beach Community Clinic and Anaheim Unified School District prior.  Her background and interests brought her heart right towards and focused  towards our "Grandma's Room" program.
 
 Being a non-stop liaison for Grandma's House of Hope she has organized our "Fabulously Funny Fashion Show & Lunch" fundraising event last year and numerous book sales besides working on other fundraising committees and attending many community awareness events!
