VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR WAMPO
WAMPO

WAMPO will be conducting a count of bicyclists and pedestrians in the region, and they need volunteers!

WAMPO 2012 Bicycle and Pedestrian Count Dates/Times

Saturday, September 8, Noon - 2pm

Wednesday, September 12, 5-7pm

Volunteers are needed to manually count bicyclists and pedestrians at several locations around the WAMPO region.

The data collected during these counts will be used to estimate the number of bicyclists, walkers, and runners in the greater Wichita area.  This type of data has never been collected before here, and it will be used to monitor the numbers of bicyclists and pedestrians in the region, track the locations where bicycling and pedestrian activity take place, and plan the locations of future bicycle and pedestrian investments. More info
