Author Peter Kageyama looks at what makes cities lovable, what motivates citizens to do extraordinary things for their places. He has travelled the world learning and speaking about issues of local community development, talent, attraction and retention and creative industries development. In Wichita, Peter will speak about how we can turn peoples' emotional engagement with their place into tangible action and use that excitement and energy as a much needed community development resource.
Peter's interactive workshop explores how you can do something extraordinary for Wichita by implementing local based solutions that do not require significant resources and can be quickly implemented within the community.
Please join us for this FREE interactive workshop with Peter from 3:00pm - 6:00pm on April 17, 2012.
