5:30 to 8:30 p.m. every evening Nov. 25 through Dec. 31, except Dec. 24 and 25.
Illuminations is a family-friendly event that showcases Botanica's eleven acres of beautiful gardens in a completely different light. With the addition of more than 700,000 new lights, Illuminations will be Kansas' largest holiday light display. As visitors enjoy their walk through the Gardens, they will enjoy the warm glow of more than luminaries, the sound of electric trains traveling around pine trees, the reflections of trees on the pond, the magic of the flocked forest at Candy Cane Lane, the fragrance of chimineas, the warmth of hot cocoa and cider and the joy of live musical groups.
Tickets are $7 ($6 members) for adults and $5 for youth (3-12). Advance tickets can be purchased at all area QuikTrip locations or at Botanica. Members must purchase their tickets at Botanica in order to receive their discount. Group rates are available in advance. For rates or other ticket information, contact Kathy Scott at [email protected] or 316-264-0448.

The City of Wichita launched WichitaTransitTalks.com, an interactive virtual "town hall" dedicated to soliciting ideas from the community about transit services. The site provides a convenient way for the public to share ideas, offer opinions and make recommendations on a broad variety of Transit subjects. The City will use ideas and comments from WichitaTransitTalks.com, surveys and feedback from past stakeholder meetings to draft transit scenarios, which will be presented to the public in meetings and online in January. A preferred scenario will be developed based on feedback and presented to the Wichita City Council in February or early March. Please share this message. The City of Wichita wants to hear from as many residents as possible. Thanks for participating!
