Wichita Wildcat Classic Tickets on Sale

Tickets for the inaugural Wichita Wildcat Classic, featuring Kansas State Wildcats men's basketball and the West Virginia Mountaineers go on sale this Friday, September 9th at 10:00 a.m. Ticket prices for the basketball game at INTRUST Bank Arena start as low as $10 for students and $18 for the general public. The event will take place December 8, 2011 and will be the first meeting between K-State and Bob Huggins since the former Wildcats coach left for West Virginia in 2007.

This "native son" left Wichita in 1950, returning half a century later: a Captain of the British Empire, professor, museum director and adventurer who had traveled the world. Dr. Jones has published a limited edition book about his experiences entitled "A Stranger Abroad" which he will present and sign. The book will be available for sale that evening at the Museum. Dr. Jones departs soon for Kenya. This event is free and open to the public.
