On May 14, nearly 50 community volunteers came out to participate in Downtown Cleanup Day. Participants helped cleanup Douglas Avenue between the Arkansas River and Naftzger Park by sweeping, picking up trash, painting, and more.

The WDDC and the City of Wichita would like to thank all those who came out to participate. The event was a wonderful opportunity to cleanup everybody's neighborhood, Downtown. We hope you all enjoyed your time out, and we look forward to many more cleanups in the future.
