Free parking is available just north of Douglas next to the Garvey Center.  We'll have water to quench your thirst and cleaning supplies will be provided.  Projects will include sweeping, covering graffiti, applying a fresh coat of paint on curbs and general clean up.  The day's activities will wrap up at noon with a complimentary lunch.

We recommend loose comfortable clothing and work gloves.  Extra brooms, paintbrushes and rollers are always welcomed, but they should have your name on them.  Volunteers under the age of 18 are welcome, but must be volunteering with an adult.  This is a rain or shine event. Reserve your paintbrush or broom by calling 264-6005!

Along with yummy and green things, find lots of unique, artistic and handmade treasures. Local artist Jaki McElroy will be drawing caricatures. There are tie dyes, jewelry, oils & incense, treats for your canine friend and much more.

Chef's demos at 9am and live local musicians from 10-noon make supporting local growers fun!

They created their own proprietary seasonings, rubs, and sauces that give the food a unique and award winning flavor. Whiskey Creek uses some of the finest beef this country has to offer, and cook it over full sized logs of oak and ash! Cooking over a real wood fire grill, also allows the fat to cook away, creating leaner and healthier meals. It is the combination of fire, smoke and their proprietary seasonings that make the food taste so good! So come check out Whiskey Creek Steakhouse in Downtown, tonight!
