Doors open at 6:00pm, the buffet opens at 6:15pm, and the show starts at 7:50pm. Dinner & Show Tickets - $26 (aduluts), $22 (age 60+), $20 (ages 12 & under). Show Only Tickets - $16 all ages.

Nursery Rhyme Time: Central Library - 223 S. Main. 261-8500. 10:30 am. Music, rhymes, activities and stories for children ages 2 and under with an adult helper. (20 minutes)

Final Friday Art Crawl: Downtown Wichita. 7pm. Hours vary between different galleries but all are open during core hours of 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Most galleries use Final Friday to unveil and debut new shows. The event is free and open to the public and several galleries provide light refreshments. 

 

The Blind Side: Orpheum Theatre - 200 N. Broadway. 263-0884. 7:30 pm. The Blind Side - Movie for a Cure - is a benefit for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. A $10 donation includes movie, popcorn, and a soda. You can also meet the 2011 Boy and Girl of the Year, Jesse and Carrington.

25th Annual Academy Award Shorts: Orpheum Theatre - 200 N. Broadway. 263-0884. 10 am. Free to the public and presented by the Wichita Public Library. Get ready for a year-long celebration of film, leading up to the 25th Annual Academy Award Shorts in Spring 2011. Events will continue throughout 2011 celebrating the short subjects in animation, live action and documentary fields.

 

For the Love of Horses... A Mane Affair Benefit and Gala: Midian Shrine Temple - 130 N. Topeka. 620-725-3402. 6 pm. Join us for an evening of delicious food and cocktails, a silent auction, and of course, a fun-filled horsopoly competition with prizes for winners, all for the horses!
