Mosley Street Melodrama

Mosley Street Melodrama234 N. Mosley. 263-0222. 6:00 pm. Current production is Where's the Gold? I Don't Know...Alaska. Show runs Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Evenings. Doors open at 6:00pm, the buffet opens at 6:15pm, and the show starts at 7:50pm. Dinner & Show Tickets - $26 (aduluts), $22 (age 60+), $20 (ages 12 & under). Show Only Tickets - $16 all ages.

WiiTM Tournament: Central Library. 223 S. Main. 261-8500. 2:30pm. Teens aged 12-17 may join the Wichita Public Library's WiiTM tournament to compete in the ultimate WiiTm Challenge. Prizes will be awarded in different categories. (90 minutes)

Senior Wednesday - "The Dockum Sit-In: A Legacy of Courage:" Central Library. 223 S. Main. 261-8500. 2/9/11 1:30pm. Wichita was the site of civil rights history as the first sit-in occured in July 1958. Learn more about this event from the KPTS documentary, "The Dockum Sit-In: A Legacy of Courage." Dr. Galyn Vesey, who participated in the sit-in, will be on hand to answer questions after the screening. Offered in cooperation with nine other cultural institutions in Wichita, Senior Wednesdays are designed for active seniors and made possible by the Kansas Health Foundation, a priate philanthropic organization dedicated to improving the health of all Kansans.
