Welcome"Welcome": The Wichita Premiere: Central Library.  223 S. Main.  261-8500.  "Welcome" is the story of Bilal, a young Iraqi-Kurdish immigrant, who attempts to illegally cross from France into Britain so that he can be reunited with his girlfriend, as well as Simon, the coach who trains him in his quest to swim across the English Channel. The film is in French, English and Kurdish, with English subtitles. It is unrated and may not be appropriate for all audiences. Winner of major awards at the Berlin International Film Festival, the Heartland Film Festival, and the Warsaw International Film Festival, it was also nominated for ten Cesar awards in 2010.

Mead, Suite 108, is a great place to grab lunch, dinner, or drinks after a movie at the Warren Theatre.  They serve gourmet coffee, artisan gelato, and specialty sandwiches that complement the great atmosphere.  When the weather is nice, make sure you take advantage of the outside seating, perfect for people watching.

BeadazzledBeadazzled, located at 307 N. Mead, is Wichita's most unique bead store and glass art studio.  They have the largest selection of lampwork glass beads in the state because they are born of fire in their glass studio. Beadazzled carries an assortment of natural stone beads such as turquoise, jasper, agate, and jade. They also have custom made jewelry which incorporates glass beads with pearls, crystals, and other semi precious stones.
