New Observation Boardwalk Opens at Blackwater!

Blackwater Marsh Boardwalk New Boardwalk Gets Rave Reviews
Blackwater Refuge staff and volunteers are very excited to announce that the new Observation Point boardwalk is now open on the Wildlife Drive. The boardwalk is located on the Observation Point turnoff near the Marsh Edge Trail and it offers a fantastic view of the Blackwater River, the marsh, and a small marsh pond. The boardwalk has benches and is wheelchair accessible, and it also has a platform near the pond that will be popular with students studying the marsh. Come to Blackwater soon to check out our newest attraction!
